Melonhead Photo was established in 2004 and is owned and operated by Melanie Hall. Melanie is a graduate of Willis High School and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Photography from Sam Houston State University in 2007. In 2008 she earned her Professional Photographer Certification, which less than 3% off all photographers in the United States achieve. She enjoys the art of digital photography and is a member of Texas Professional Photography Association and Professional Photographers of America. Aside from Melonhead Photo, she also is a freelance photographer for The Conroe Courier and Montgomery County News. She is also an associate member of the North Montgomery County Volunteer Fire Department in Willis. Along with being a First Responder, she has been photographing for them since 2003. In addition to these things, she has been volunteering her photographic talents to the Montgomery County Fair Public Relations Committee since 2000 and is a life member. She also is a member of the Greater Conroe/ Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce.

Melanie believes that learning is something you must continue throughout ones life. This is why she attends many different workshops and conventions each year. Including Texas School of Professional Photography.
